Tell me the truth but . . [experienced live]

The performances began with Bernard licking letters off the shoes of audience members and playing a skipping CD and a scratched record in the dark.  Then Matthew handed out texts to audience members and taped his mouth shut while the texts were read.  Jessica walked the edges of a piece of fabric, twirled it up with her foot, and invited everyone onto the stage to see what was in the center.  David took everyone outside and announced that he had spent the afternoon planting flower bulbs in the lawn.  Dillon played his high school theme song on a drum before stabbing it, stripping off his shirt, and challenging Bernard to armwrestle.  Raymond, who had been recording 1-minute segments of the performances, closed the evening by accompanying the playback with a strange little instrument while Dexter played percussions.

Uncertainty Results

Some pictures from performances at the Uncertainty Performance Art Event, Friday, Feb. 11.  Dillon on the phone under a blanket, Raymond playing in a bowler hat, the glass of water Jessica placed on stage before dancing in the dark, Allison writing a score on the wall, Lindsey sawing a cardboard box, and Bernard playing the wheelbarrow in his collaboration with Allison.  Matthew opened the evening with a speech in total darkness.  Nearly 40 people attended.

Uncertainty Performance Art Event
